The World Famous Agora will be hosting the Cleveland Icon Celebration Concert & Musicians Open Jam Networking Party on Friday, February 23. The event will be presented by the Cleveland Entertainment Coalition in efforts to bring together local musicians, groups, and industry leaders of the past present & future to honor the city’s rock ‘n roll legacy. The event will also serve as a prelude and build up to the 2nd Annual Icon Perseverance Awards which will be held at the World Famous Agora on Sunday, March 25.

“This year’s Icon Concert is showcasing an array of performers covering a broad range of ages and styles,” says Londi Viccarone, president of the Cleveland Entertainment Coalition. “The CEC is all about uniting Cleveland’s entertainment industry and the Icon Concert provides a tremendous opportunity to promote our town’s unparalleled talent.”

Feature acts at the Icon Concert include: classic rock and blues band TBS; up-and-coming rock sensation Justin Geraci (son of Sonny Geraci from the Outsiders); Fox Fire; Savant, one of northeast Ohio’s top teen rock bands; with classic rock band Double Shot opening the show. Immediately following, the concert showcase will become open to all local musicians in attendance to come together for a memorable jam session.

The Icon concert begins at 7:00 PM with the open jam session beginning around 11:00 PM (signup by 10:00 PM) at the Agora Ballroom, 5000 Euclid Avenue. Tickets are $10.00 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations, online at the Ticketmaster website, and the Agora box office. All CEC members get in free with their membership card.
